Should I get The Sims Medieval?

I sorta liked The Sims 2, but I found The Sims 3 just completely boring. Now I'm intrigued by The Sims Medieval because read that it has role playing elements in it and the medieval setting seems fun. For those who played it, do you think it will be worth for me getting Sims Medieval if I found Sims 3 boring?
