Why should Jonathan Pollard be released but not Mordechai Vanunu?

I think an even more important question is why does some US tax dollar sucking nobody think that he has any say in whether the president of the US runs for re-election or not? The state election commissioners sign the papers to put someone on a ballot. Not some whiny toddler in a foreign sand pit.
