Why is our president minimizing the tornado disasters in the Midwest and South?

It's like we're not really here, and what's going on in Israel is more important, and so are sports? Is it denial, or indifference, or what? We feel as if we are being attacked on a monthly, sometimes daily level. There are disasters all over, deaths, and people who can't be found.
