Can a Jehovah's Witness become a naturalised citizen seeing that they cannot pledge allegiance ?

What an interesting question. I don't know that answer and I'm a JW. I also don't know how many years it takes to become a naturalized citizen. I know that Arnold S. (x gov of Calif) is now a naturalized one though. Personally, I don't see the need to be a citizen of a country. We all are from Jehovah God and when His Time comes, there won't be countries, only the earth. Aren't we all earthlings now?
