Sims 3 won't install last bit?

I have a brand new laptop that has a i5 and windows 7. I tried downloading it last night but it got to the last 1/4th of an inch and I just kept pushing "retry" when it would pop up, for 3 hours. I thought maybe if I started the computer over it would work. but it's doing the same thing. I checked on the Sims 3 website but they don't have any help. It's just really annoying that it's the last little bit and it won't load. Help?
