Sims 3 generations not working? ?

So I got sims 3 generations when it came out it work for about an hour then it like dropped. Where I was playing it/ where I keep my lap top doesn't have wifi (i know that sounds weird since it doesn't have wifi.) So then I took it to my dads house, where there is wifi and it works just fine. But when I don't have wifi the launcher says not responding when I hit play. Does anyone know how to fix this or way this is happening. It has never happened before I downloaded generations. Thank you

Sims 3 Keeps Freezing, Help?

My Dell Inspron R15 laptop computer was bought about less than a year ago. My Sims 3 game has been working fine sense then but suddenly for the past week or two it freezes at the most random times. Like, the clock stops but the plumbob on the top of the Sims head are STILL SPINNING! I don't understand why this happens and I have a lot of memory left and it is very frustrating. I also have a slip n' slide in the Sims 3 game and it still works when it freezes. The game freezes for about 10 seconds. When I go to open up Sims the first little window opens up (the one where you can click the Play button that leads into the full screen mode thingy) but then an update pops up that says an update is available and it asks if I want to update. So if I say yes it starts updating but then stops for some reason and if I say no it just closes the game. My wife was a disfellowshipped witness when I met her, so I didn't think she was serious about her faith. She engaged in regular holidays and was totally cool. When we got married, she fought hard to get back into her congregation. It took a while, but she eventually got reinstated. I never went with her to meetings during this time, so she did it solo. On a different note: The bible was written by men, normal men, inspired by god, perhaps, but still written by some group of clerics way back when. Okay, there are different reasons for people being virgins. HELP!? My Computer Keeps Turning Off?

i have a Compaq laptop and whenever i play the Sims 3 it turns off after about half an hour. first of all i know the computer meets all of the games requirements, and i have had the game for about 2 years and it has always been fine. now whenever i play i have the laptop plugged in and fully charged, it also sits on top of a special laptop desk so it shouldn't overheat. there was a time where i didn't play the game for about 3 months and now that its summer the last few times i have gone to play it it randomly shuts off, i can hear the music for about 30 seconds and then it just goes in some half off state and i have to hold the power button to turn it completely off. this only happens when i play my game and i'm just wondering if anyone knows whats wrong?

I'm really worried about the heating.I usually play The sims 3 and as soon as i start it the temperature goes REALY high.I do not have it on my lap,i always have it on a table. This is my first mac.I've been using 'Temperature Monitor' to monitor the temperature and when i play a game,the temp of the CPU were about 80C-90C(sometimes 94C).Now i have installed iStat but the temperatures seem really low but if u touch the space between the keyboard and screen,you'll get burnt. I purchased my dell inspiron a little over a year ago. My disk drive has worked perfectly for both Dvds and CDs up until this past month. My disk drive open and close, but the disks arent being read. Opinion of this poem I wrote for school?

I really like it! I'm an aspiring writer myself and I really do think that is a very good poem. One thing I do have to say though is that I believe that the poem would be a lot better for the reader if it had a better rhythm. But I'm not sure if you didn't want that or not so overall I think that is a beautiful poem!

I don't think the NBC guys heading the US Open have any political ideologies influencing them. They were probably getting a bunch of angry emails from athiest groups telling them to edit it out and they did it in fear of upsetting them.

Why do some people get offended when "under God" is omitted from the Pledge of Allegiance?

Its offensive to you if its in there and its offensive to me if its not. At least I can take solace in knowing that the Lord will soon end all of this nonsense. It does not violate anything in the Constitution, for by uttering two words, no one is attempting to establish any religion, whether under the auspices of the government, or not. The only ones that believe that are crybaby atheists and the Atheist Criminal Liberties Union.

Pregnant with my ex, and not sure what to do...?

In January I began what looked like a very promising relationship with my now ex boyfriend... Our relationship was wonderful and had everything the both of us were looking for; however, we had one major controversy... prior to us dating, I had dated his roommate and best friend 4 years prior. Long story short, his roommate was pissed off at our dating and claimed we had slept together. For a while my ex believed me (showed him text conversations with the roommate, the roommate's story was faulty, etc), but one day he decided he couldn't handle the questions. We broke it off, kinda... for 2 months we hung out, talked, and periodically slept together. I wanted more than that and when I realized he preferred "limbo" to an actual relationship, I told him I deserved better and that was it. A week ago I found out I was pregnant with his child. There is a great deal of drama involved with our relationship... all about the break up caused by the accusations of his roommate, and the snow ball effect the incident had on us. I told him I'm pregnant. I've been to the doctor. Gave him my blood work results, took a pregnany test for him, and showed him the letter from my doctor. After all the drama and seeing his poor coping skills, I thought I didn't want him apart of this at all. I told him he needed to know, but I will not have an abortion, and I'm considering keeping it or adoption; whatever I chose will be what goes. He suggested abortion, but then doesn't want adoption, then again he wants to be in the child's life, blah, blah, blah... He's confused and scared, which I understand, but he is indifferent about everything in his life, unable to trust anyone, afraid of commitment, set in his ways... he's a typical hard-headed commitment phobic, and I don't know if I want my child exposed to his indifference because it can be extremely hurtful. We spoke the other night and he asked if we could be civil and take it as it comes, but he understood it would take me some time to come around. He wanted time as well. I'm not sure how to communicate with him from this point on... do I talk to him about being involved? Do I make the choice on my own? Do I try to be his friend? I feel like I have waited on him hand and foot since we've met, and I want to respect the fact he's wanting to be apart of things, but he's not showing me he really does, and if he won't be the father my child deserves, then I don't want him around. Do I wait for him to man up? Do I initiate contact again? I'm very torn on so many levels...

I'm not religous and i'm moving to a Catholic school?

My dad is not religious. He bases all of his beliefs on science. And so he tries to make me believe the same. But I feel bad! I've only been to church once in my entire life. But I still pray and believe in god. Is that bad? My dad's fiance is like a second mom to me<3 and she said she would help me learn the Catholic religion and take me to church every Sunday. I really want to be Catholic and learn about God. The problem is I am moving to a Catholic school for 8th grade and I'm not religious! I know most of the people there, and they're all really nice! I came to that school for a day to follow the classes and see what the school is like. And they say a prayer like the pledge of allegiance every morning. And before lunch. And at the end of the day. They also have mass once a week.. what's that?! And have a religion class. I am so frustrated and I need to know where and how I can start learning. Do I need to know everything about this religion? Do you think they will judge me because I don't study religion? And If I had the choice then I would! I feel like it's a great thing to have in your life.. My best friend is staying over at my house for a while and she is constantly on the computer. She is on forums and chat rooms from the time she wakes up until after everybody else in the house is already asleep. The shortest time she has been on the computer was For maybe 6 hours. Almost 25 and still a virgin. What is your opinion?

Okay, there are different reasons for people being virgins. Religion, shyness, personal beliefs, etc. Mine happens to be a mixture of shyness (Though can be outgoing) and lack of interest or just indifference or nonchalance. In some ways, I don't feel that interested in meeting women because it's not that important to me. However, I do try when I can if I see someone who draws my interests. However, the part that gets me is if I meet a woman and it gets to a point to be intimate, she's going to expect that I know what I am doing. I am at an age where it is expected to have had sex already and the part that scares me is not knowing how to satisfy a woman. Should the Pledge of Allegiance be Changed?

It amazes me that people can look at the pledge of allegiance, and the thing they come away with is a hang-up with the words 'under God'. We ought to pay more attention to the rest of it. We pledge our allegiance to our flag and our country, but most people can't even be bothered to even go out and vote, or give any thought to making our country a better place. This country, with all our problems, sadly created many times by our own government officials, is still the place that everyone would move to if they could, even if they have to do it illegally. But all we can see is the few things that divide us, such as the words 'under God'. I don't have a problem with removing the words, but I do wish the complainers would spend have as much effort trying to make our country better. Who else is going to do it if not us.

I understand that meds can't take away all of life's problems or magically make me happy with myself, but I am unclear on what Lexapro is suppose to do for me. I don't cry myself to sleep or during "sad" commercials anymore, but my motivation is still gone (even to satisfy sexual urges that I do still have). suicidal thought are still there, although i do think about it with indifference rather than conviction now. My fiance has recently lost any sort of emotion. I believe part of it is due to the new position at work where he is forced to be like that. Problem is, he brings it home. The Sims 3 turns off by itself?

I've downloaded The Sims 3 (so it's obviously an illegal copy of the game), installed it, replaced the game file with a crack. I get EA games screen, the short movie showing the families and city etc. and then the screen with the loading bar. After the loading bar loads entirely, the game turns off by itself. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, and this is only my experience as a women myself. Either 1 of 2 things. 1. She is interested if not already involved in him and she is trying to keep you off her tail by showing disgust. This way you will not "worry" about the guy. or 2. She is looking for you to step up to the plate and say something to get him to back off, and let everybody see how much you "love" her. Either way this is not a good thing. What the hell is copyright?

It is understandable that copyright can protect people's descriptions of their idea whether on paper or anything else. But how does it specifically protect it? For example, someone learned grammar, vocabulary etc. and how to form neat sentences from books. The books have copyright, and eventually this person that learned from that book might somewhere use a very similar expression, forming of sentence or even word to word to another idea. Where does copyright lie here? Can't someone read a novel and memorise a lot of sentences and use them time to time because they eventually become "his" words? It is nice that copyright does protect novels etc. but what does it actually mean that you can't physically copy something because it's the creator's own original work? What original work is this about? Many sentences are alike and people that are learning literacy at school are learning to write the same way as the best author's in the world. Obviously when you write something it will look different to an extent.
